Timecode maths

Add or subtract two timecodes or frame counts. Type 01000000 for 01:00:00:00, or a plain number like 48 for frames.

Timecode and frames

Turn a timecode into frames and seconds, or a frame count into a timecode. Change the frame rate to see the same frames at another rate.

Storage for a shoot

How much space the footage takes, so you bring enough cards and drives. ProRes rates follow Apple's published targets; for anything else, enter the bit rate.

Crop to an aspect ratio

The biggest frame of a given shape that fits inside your footage, and the bars you'd need to show it uncropped.

Numbers you can hand to a producer.
